WARRANTY INFORMATION

JHS Pedals is committed to the quality of our products and excellent customer service. Over the years we have occasionally updated our warranty policy since our beginning in 2007. JHS Pedals will strictly adhere to and honor the various warranties that our products have carried at the time of production or purchase (whichever the warranty language calls for). Our current warranty as of September 2020 is stated below. Please refer to the warranty statements further below our current policy for any product produced or purchased prior to September 2020.

WARRANTY on JHS Pedals

As of September 2020, we provide a 4 year (6 months for 3 Series pedals), non-transferable warranty within the USA for ANY problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. To receive your warranty you must register through our registration portal found below. Outside of the USA, various International distributor warranty policies may supersede our original manufacturer’s warranty. In the USA, we can provide shipping labels for products that are less than 30 days old. Otherwise, the customer will be responsible for any costs associated with shipping repairs to JHS. For pedals that have been registered and are under warranty, we will cover the cost of shipping the product back to the customer. For non-warrantied pedals, all shipping charges will be covered by the customer (Return shipping is included in quotes given for non-warranty repairs). All international repairs, warranty or non-warranty, will have an automatic $25 return shipping fee. We do not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse, however, we will repair issues like these or other non-warranty issues at a very reasonable price. Several of our pedals have internal trim pots which are set for the function of the circuit, and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty.

RETURNS AT DEALERS

All items purchased from authorized JHS Dealers are subject to the Dealer’s terms and conditions for Returns.  Items purchased from authorized JHS Dealers cannot and should not be returned directly to JHS Pedals.

Unless explicitly stated in the product description, yes, we will accept full or partial order returns. All returns will be requested within 14 days of receiving your items. Returns requested after 14 days will be refused.

Items must be returned in like new condition with original packaging contents. If items are not in like-new condition with original packaging contents, a 25% restocking fee may be applied.

Refunds will be issued against the original form of payment and may take 3-5 business days to be processed upon receiving the item(s).

JHS Pedals does not control how quickly your financial institution posts refunds.

 

REPAIRS

Hey, no one is 100% perfect. Therefore we are happy to repair JHS Pedals and JHS Mods when something seems to be going wrong. Most repairs end up being fairly simple fixes, and our techs are more than capable of helping get JHS pedals back in working condition! WARRANTY POLICIES PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER 2020

June 2017–August 2020: Lifetime USA, 1 Year if sold outside USA

Warranty Policy from 2007 – May 2016 Our pedals carry an unconditional “Two Year” full warranty for ANY problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. Simply show the receipt of purchase and we will honor it up to two years. We do not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse. We build them to last but not to be thrown out of an airplane. However, we will repair problems that are out from under our warranty like the above at a very reasonable price. Several of our pedals have internal trim pots which are set and sealed very carefully for the function of the circuit and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty.  
Warranty Policy from June 2016 – May 2017 Our pedals carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty (for as long as we are in business) for ANY problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. We do not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse. We build them to last but not to be thrown out of an airplane. However, we will repair problems that are out from under our warranty like the above at a very reasonable price. Several of our pedals have internal trim pots which are set and sealed very carefully for the function of the circuit and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty. Regarding JHS Mods, ….aftermarket changes to a guitar pedal typically void original manufacturer’s warranty in almost all circumstances. By purchasing a new JHS Mod and/or sending in your new/used pedal for a JHS Mod, you are acknowledging that you are most likely voiding the original manufacturer’s warranty of the non-JHS Pedal. As a manufacturer, we can only offer a warranty on the parts and changes included within the JHS Mod. We cannot and will not be able to offer warranty coverage to a non-JHS Pedal or part of a non-JHS pedal that we did not design, manufacture, or alter during the Modding process.
Warranty Policy from June 2017 – August 2020 Our pedals carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty (for as long as we are in business) within the USA for ANY problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. JHS Pedals and goods sold Internationally outside of the USA carry a 1 year Limited Warranty. We do not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse. We build them to last but not to be thrown out of an airplane. However, we will repair problems that are out from under our warranty like the above at a very reasonable price. Several of our pedals have internal trim pots which are set and sealed very carefully for the function of the circuit and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty.
